MEREDITH QUINN

is a graduate from California Institute of the Arts, with her BFA in Experimental Animation. She has found great joy in working in all facets of stop-motion filmmaking, but is particularly interested in prop and puppet fabrication, and hopes to make a future career in Art Direction and Production Design. Meredith is currently directing, animating, designing and fabricating her thesis film “Resonance” which is set to be completed in 2021.

Meredith has always been inspired deeply by the warmth and subtlety of folk art and americana, as well as the emotional and dark cores of gothic literature and artwork. She aims to combine the hearts of both of those genres in her work, and brands her art as “folk goth.”

In her free time, you can find Meredith shooting film photography, playing retro video games, and tending to her ever-growing plant garden.
